A Remembrance Day tribute was held today at our local Cenotaph.   I took my daughter for the first time so that she could hear the trumpets play the Last Post and `O Canada’,  played by the school band.   I could not help but just take it all in.  The sounds, the moment of silence, watching an RCMP officer standing  guard and the beautiful snow on the ground that made this event peaceful.   I am thankful for the peace in our land and for those who gave so much for us.

We ventured out to our garden for Monique’s first photo shoot at 11 days of age!

My husband and I are super excited to announce the birth of our first daughter:

Our lives have been so enriched with our few days of having Monique thus far! Little sleep, a few smiles from her and just tons of love!

My husband, Bill & I are expecting our first little one in the next little while!!
